ARMD screening

Amsler Grid : |
ARMD (Age-related macular degeneration) is a visual pathology whereby the cells of the central part of the retina (macula) degenerate. It appears in persons over the age of 50. The Amsler grid can be used for simple screening. The patient focuses on the central dot of the grid and is asked if they perceive a distortion or alteration of the grid. |
